We have been getting used to working in threes over the past fortnight – especially in our maths activities.
This way of working helps us to work collaboratively, and to help each other with our learning, through explanations, through using drawing or objects or maths equipment to structure our thinking. It brings with it challenges, but we are getting better at working together and talking about our learning across all of the curriculum.
The photos above show everyone seriously engrossed in their trio work! But we did have a bit of a giggle trying to learn a Greek dance like the ones people may have danced in Ancient Greece! Quite a few of us (including Miss Rowe) seem to have two left feet, but we managed it – for the most part! We danced to amazing music played on a lyre and drum – instruments which would have been played thousands of years ago.
