Today Goldfinch class went for an afternoon’s outing to Chagfarm. We hope this will be the first of several visits over the year, and that we will get to see the pigs and goats grow up, and maybe even sample the dairy products and honey that are produced on the farm. It was great to meet Davon, and help him and his colleagues to collect firewood for the burner which heats all their water.

The pigs are Devon Blacks, and they are very sweet! They enjoyed entertaining us…or was it the other way around?

We had a lovely, albeit slightly damp, afternoon, and look forward to returning again soon.
