Year 3 have had a very creative week! In English, we have written our own stories about animals in unusual locations. The children challenged themselves to include speech in their stories and correctly punctuate. We had stories about a Slavonian Grebe in a supermarket, Shaun the Sheep at a football stadium and a pig in a volcano plus many more exciting adventures. We have started exploring multiplication and division in Maths. On Thursday we finished making our lanterns with Mr Dray and we made a window display for the Winterlight Festival. On Friday, Year 3 were lucky enough to be chosen to take part in a sustainable wreath making workshop. Susan and Kate from Proper Job spent time with the children helping them create the most amazing sustainable wreaths. The perseverance and determination from all the children was superb! We would like to say a huge thank you to Kate and Susan, it was great fun.
