I've been delighted to end the week on such a high with Hawthorn Class! At the moment, we're learning about states of matter in Science, so learnt what makes a solid, a liquid and a gas. That said, we've just been outside playing with Oobleck! It was so much fun to see how this mixture of cornflour and water could sometimes act like a solid and sometimes like a liquid! See the picture below!
There's also been many an act of kindness going on around school, which we have been celebrating as one of our school values. A particular thank you to the children who have been so caring and inclusive in the playground. We've made an effort this week to actively show kindness towards all members of the school community, even if they're not our particular friends. Have a wonderful bank holiday, everyone! We hope that you have a safe and happy time and we'll look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday. See you soon, Mrs Robertson
