Hi everyone,
We've had another great week in Oak class this week, and are really settling into our class routines. I've been so impressed at all the hard work from the children this week - we've been rewriting a story about 'The Miracle of Fire' during the Stone Age, thinking about place value in Maths, and in History we thought about which animals we might see if we visited a Prehistoric Zoo! We've also been practicing a dance to Footloose all week, and taught it to the whole school in our celebration assembly on Friday. Be sure to practice it so that our morning dances next week are amazing! See you all again on Monday! Miss Paddon

Hi everyone!
We've had a wonderful first week in Oak class, I've really enjoyed getting to know all the children, and I can't believe that the first week has have gone so quickly! Now that we have established our class routines, I'm really looking forward to our learning this half-term - we'll be continuing to learn about sentence structure, before going onto writing instructional texts (based on the book 'How to wash a Woolly Mammouth') in English, and continuing to work on place value in Maths. We'll will also be diving into the Prehistoric Britain and the Stone Age in History this half term - keep an eye out for all our hard work on the class blog! Thank you all for your support in the first week, and thank you Oak Class for being AMAZING! Miss Paddon Welcome back for the new year here in Oak Class. We will use this space to tell you what we have been up to and to share pictures of our learning.
