Did you know that it is widely believed that there were 21 different types of human? We have learnt about the Neanderthals and how homo sapiens evolved through the Stone Age to eventually begin farming and using languages. Next week we will explore human settlements across the three eras of the Stone Age. Take a look at this link to take a look at some of the learning and vocabulary we might encounter.

We have been exploring ‘The Lost Thing’ over the past few weeks and will discover the wonders of ‘The Red Tree’ next week. We will be using the images to explore the character’s feelings and use PEEL (Point, Evidence, Explain and Link) to help structure our thoughts. We will be using our number bonds to 10 and 100 next week to help us with some challenging new concepts and methods. Part whole and bar model will help us to calculate, and problem solve.
