It's the end of the road for the home learning and we cannot wait to see all of you next week in the classroom! It's been really great though to see how many of you have joined in from home, even when the Internet has been a bit dodgy. Top marks for effort, everyone!
We've had lots of fun learning this week, making the most of the wonderful sunshine earlier in the week, as we've had some English lessons outside. The class have been looking at Captain Cook's diaries of how he sailed around Australasia, and then using these ideas to form their own exciting, atmospheric diary entries. Pretending to be an explorer is definitely one way to get around lockdown restrictions! We also have started turning our 'daily dash' into a long distance running challenge, where the children tally up their laps and aim to run a mile each day. We will be encouraging each other all the way - some of us are natural runners, some of us are definitely not! I have already been incredibly impressed with the perseverance and teamwork that I've seen, with class members helping each other around the track. A wonderful start, keep it up. Below are some pictures of our week. Remember 'Screen-Free Friday' tomorrow - we are looking forward to hearing what you got up to when we are all together on Monday! Have a great weekend everyone, Mrs Robertson.
