This beautiful weather is helping us imagine we are off to Greece! Oak class are beginning to writing leaflets all about Greece. They have used there research from last week, with Mr Frewin they have been thinking about persuasive writing and try to write paragraphs to encourage people to visit Greece. The end of the week we thought about adding adding rhetorical questions to improve the paragraphs further in their persuasive power. In art, the children were tasked with recreating the famous roof top vista of Santorini. Oak class are always amazing at rising to the task and created the most amazing pictures. In our Geography lesson, the children were given an atlas and a 'unknown' country (which the children quickly decided was Greece) they used the atlas to find Greece and add detail to there maps to match the atlas picture. Another amazing week for Oak class!
