MED Theatre Workshop

This week Suvie and Helen from MED theatre came and led a workshop all about Dartmoor in the Bronze Age. They shared lots of knowledge with us but because we have already learnt a lot already, Helen asked us to show a flame of knowledge if we already knew something or a big sunshine when they taught us something new.

We played an active game where we were a stone circle, smelting (heating tin and copper to make bronze), a reave (stone boundary), a roundhouse, a quincunx (a 5 stone formation found on Exmoor) and a cist (burial chamber)

We acted out the story of Marwyn from the the White Horse Hill cist excavation.

We learnt lots of new things as well as recapping our previous learning in a fun dramatic way.
