Hi everyone!
We've made it! This week has been full of Christmas fun (with some work thrown in too, of course!) We have been writing about 'The Snowman' in English, focussing on using speech marks to show what the characters might say to each other. In Maths, we finished our unit on money with a team challenge, using chocolate coins (an end of term treat!). Today, as the class had filled up their reward jar with pom-poms, we also joined with Beech class for some festive hot chocolate outside - I hope you all enjoyed them, Oak class! The children have been working really hard all the way up to the end of term, which I'm so impressed with. Having had such a unsettled time over the last 2 years, I've been so proud of how the children settled into Oak class - from the start of the year, to welcoming our Year 2's into the class at half-term, Oak class has grown stronger and more confident as the term has gone on. I hope that the children have enjoyed their first term - I feel very lucky to call Oak class my own, and I'm very much looking forward to continuing to teach them! Thank you for all your continued support, have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, Miss Paddon
