Dear All,
Our week has been a full and interesting one! We have, of course, had a remembrance theme running alongside our rivers topic. The children showed great respect during our assembly on Wednesday, and Arnold was even inspired to make some lovely poppies to display on our classroom window. Thank you Arnold! We have been working on our new book in English, doing drama activities, and learning some of the text by heart. Maybe they can recite it to you? In music we've been working on rhythm and pulse, and starting to learn about rhythm notation. We had fun with our new soundshapes drums! I've sent home homework this week: some spellings and a piece of maths to consolidate on our learning this week about addition and subtraction. Please return the books by Wednesday so that I can mark it. Thanks in advance for your support in this! Miss Rowe
