Greek Myths have been a real hit in Oak Class. They have enjoyed retelling the story of Medusa and Perseus in their own words some thinking about using descriptive language to engage the reader.
In science, the children have been recreating the story of Daedalus and Icarus. During History, we looked at some artefacts found by Heinrich Schliemann in 1893 believed to be artefacts found in the ancient city of Troy. The children came up with some great questions during the enquiry stage and answered their question once they had researched the artefacts. We are going to miss the topic of Greek Myths but next half term will be exploring Greece itself. Have a great half term and we'll see you all bright eyed and bushy tailed on Monday 7th June.
