Welcome back!

Hi everyone!

It was wonderful to get back to school after half-term, and to see how excited the children were to start learning again!  We became Year 2/3 and welcomed our new Year 2's into Oak class, who have settled in quickly.

This week in English we have been thinking about story writing, and practicing using exciting adjectives to create a vivid story.  We had a go at writing our own stories from one of four starter sentences, then we created our very own pop-up 'story stages'.  The children worked really hard on Friday to make these look fantastic, and I was very impressed at their finished stages.  Have a look below for a few examples!
