Positive year 6s

​Another week has flown by with this lovely bunch of Year 6s. Parents, you should be immensely proud of them all – they have started the year so positively!  
​
This week we have: 

• Explored the Blitz and debated whether it was right or wrong to bomb German cities later in the war. 
• Had our first tag rugby lesson with the Saints coach and OCRA came in on Friday and we had a great time throwing Nerf balls and running a 600m race!  
• We evaluated the effectiveness of last week’s investigation and redesigned it to get a better set of results. 
• Become rounding experts in maths – test them! I bet they can round any number to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10,000, or 100,000!  
• Discussed the Lord’s Prayer, its origins and meaning in RE 
• Generally had a fantastic week!
