Our First Week!

This has been a fantastic first week in the FSU, the children arrived, said goodbye and settled extremely well and we had very few tears all things considered! We have welcomed lots of new 2 and 3 year olds into our Pre-School and they too have enjoyed their new beginnings.

During our first week in the Reception Class we have started to learn our sounds in phonics; by Thursday one of the children said he “could already read!”,  we have all played turn-taking games, used our music bag for singing and we even changed for PE and went out on the field for some physical activity. All in all it has been a busy and fun-filled first few days and I predict a positive beginning to a lifelong love of learning.
