Good afternoon,
We have had a very exciting week in Beech class. We have been reading Handa’s Surprise. A story about animals stealing fruit from Handa’s basket. We made a story map with actions and so can now retell the story. We have also woven our own baskets to help us practice our fine motor skills. In maths, we have been doing addition using fruits. Finally, in English, we tasted some of the fruits from the story and thought of some adjectives to describe them. It has been a busy week, and I think we are now all ready for half term! We hope you all have a very fun and restful half term break and come back to school refreshed. There will be no spellings or train your brain over the holidays. This will recommence after half term. Happy half term!
