Beech Class have been in great form this week and their enthusiasm is boundless. This week in RE, we shared the story of Hannukah and learnt about the significance of the menorah seven-branched candlestick, gelt, kippah, dreidel and latkes in the Jewish faith. The children drew and annotated beautiful pictures for our RE floor book. The week finished with another fantastic opportunity for outdoor learning in the forest area led by Kale. It's been a very happy week.
Have a lovely weekend.

Hannukah involves various symbols and traditions. Which aspect resonated most with the students, and how did they express their understanding?
