Good afternoon,
What a week we have had in Beech Class! We have been trialling having the room next door open for the Year 1 children. It has been a great success, there has been lots of different learning going on. We have been developing our fine motor skills by threading beads, developing our gross motor skills by building a house for the three little pigs with wooden blocks as well as our Maths and English tasks. Both Year 1 and Year 2 have been learning about ‘The Three Little Pigs’ story, we have been retelling the story, sequencing key events and we have also been designing a house, thinking about how to keep the big, bad wolf out! Finally, just a quick reminder:

Huge apologies Beech Class - in the excitement of Friday afternoon, I forgot to hand out the spelling books. I will hand these out on Monday instead!
