Week 1

​There goes our first week back, in the blink of an eye! Thank you all for your support with the new guidelines and mask wearing rules; it's tricky for the children to see us like this but they, as usual, have been awesome and taken everything in their stride.

This week we have been busy talking about bonfire night and staying safe around fire. We then made our own fire pictures...

Our theme this term is Space and we began our topic by looking at rocket ships that take us into outer space. In our maths sessions we have been looking at and naming 2D shapes then today we used 2D shapes to create our own rocket and outer space pictures...

​We have been practising our reading and writing skills in our Sounds Books and Literacy Books; everyone of the children has been so enthusiastic with their writing it's been hard to get them too do anything else!

We then finished the week with a party to celebrate Harry's 5th birthday; chocolate coins a plenty for the winners of musical statues, musical chairs and the best dancer!
